Description

MATLAB is a multi-paradigm numerical computing environment and proprietary programming language developed by MathWorks. MATLAB allows matrix manipulations, plotting of functions and data, implementation of algorithms, creation of user interfaces, and interfacing with programs written in other languages.  Using MATLAB you can analyze data, develop algorithms and create models and applications.

Under our current MATLAB contract, students who purchase MATLAB (either an individual license or through the Engineering Software Bundle) have access to the current MATLAB license while they are enrolled at Virginia Tech. The latest license can be accessed by following the instructions at software.vt.edu/studentmatlabinstall.
