Please do not place orders for additional storage at this time. Right now the university is in the planning stages to determine what storage will be needed when Google storage restrictions go into effect. Storage ordering will be available starting on 7/1/2024.
Right now we recommend working with your OU Admin (Organization Unit Administrator(s)) to determine what storage you and your department will need when restrictions go into effect, and factor these considerations into your departmental budget. Description
Purchase additional storage for your Organizational Unit's (OU) use within the Google Workspace environment. This storage can be allocated by your OU Admin to an employee-managed Google Drive account or to a departmental Google Shared Drive. Please reach out to your OU Admin to discuss the purchase and inform them that the additional storage will be assigned to their OU along with how you would like that storage to be allocated. At this time your OU Admin can also discuss if there's currently any existing free storage allocated to your OU that could be reassigned for your use case.
Determining your OU (Organization Unit) Admin
To determine your OU Admin, please login to https://mycat.ccs.vt.edu. On the main page you will see a listing for your "OU" and your "OU Admins".
