Please be advised that University Policy 1060 requires that the VP for Finance must approve the business case for the collection of SSN and states that "Data trustees must submit a written request for approval to the Vice President for Finance stating the legal requirement or business need for collecting the SSN and related processes in place to ensure the security of the SSN."
